April 5, 2011 Let's take a moment . Today I was involved in a minor traffic accident. No one was hurt. Though I've been warned I'll be sore tomorrow. In any case, I can't get over how shaken up I am, still, hours later. Now I know where the phrase "rock your world" comes from. So, rather than try to be witty and profound (my goal, though not often accomplished), I am opting today for thoughtful. This poem by Rilke stands out for me today. Please read on. . "Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now.
