, have you found your tribe?

Yesterday my colleague, Mike Henry Sr., founder of the Lead Change Group, interviewed me.  The Lead Change Group is a global, virtual community dedicated to instigating a leadership revolution. Mike wants to allow readers to get to know contributing members like me by sharing their thoughts on this revolution.
.
I was really struck by my answer to this question of Mike's: What caused you to decide to join the Lead Change Group?  I realize in being prompted by this question, just how much this group, and my participation with it, has come to mean to me.

"I had been looking for my tribe, meaning a group of people who take character-based leadership seriously, who have room for all kinds of interpretations of this, and who are willing to learn from each other and respect what each brings to the table.  Also I wanted to be a part of a group of people who are not in it simply for self-promotion."

Participation with a tribe like this really feeds my (very human) needs to belong and to contribute.

Are you getting these needs met?  Have you found your tribe?

If you want to learn more about the Lead Change Group, you can find us at the website, http://leadchangegroup.com/, as a LinkedIn group, or on Twitter as @LeadChangeGroup or with hashtag #leadchange.

I'd love to hear about how you have found your tribe.

Best Regards,
