If you are a leader, it pays to know this distinction.

Do you know what it takes to be a thought leader vs a change leader?

As a manager, this is important to know.

Take a moment to consider, what do you want to be known for, what are you good at and more importantly, what does your organization need right now?  Do you need a collaborator to fill in gaps?

My colleague, Dana Theus, of InPower Women does a GREAT job of describing thought leadership and change leadership, and the differences.

Excerpts from Dana:
  • As a leader, mastering the principles of change management is a personal journey .  (Lots of juicy thoughts wrapped up in that one.)
  • The thought leader "leads" by doing the thinking that others won't... (That's an attention-getter.)

Hope you are having a safe and warm week.
